At Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, Hannah Green set out to defend her JM Eagle LA Championship title. Green secured the title on the second hole of a play-off round against Maja Stark, ending the tournament 5-under 66 and once again taking home the stunning JM Eagle LA Championship Cup made by Malcolm DeMille.
Some of the sharp-sighted viewers may have noticed the JM Eagle LA Championship Cup was updated this year. The cup still features the stunning details that set it apart, with a contrast of heavy texture and high-polished finish, along with details like the eagle perched atop a golf ball with its wings spread and subtly feathered handles. However, the previous version stood at 24.5” tall and the new version of the JM Eagle La Championship Cup stands at a whopping 30.5” tall and is accented with gold plating to highlight the eagle and logo allowing those details to catch the eye with ease.
