John Deere Classic has a tradition of utilizing Malcolm DeMille’s finely handcrafted money clips as Player Badges for their Pro-Am events. Each year, Malcolm DeMille creates a distinctive money clip that participants wear on their belts and take home as a memento. In addition to the player badge, John Deere Classic wanted a gift for participating ladies. A logo divot tool, using the same top design as the money clips, fit the bill for the ladies and did not require an additional mold fee.
Nebraska Golf Association was also looking for Men’s and Women’s tournament awards using the same design. They reached out to Malcolm DeMille to create a unique money clip design for their Men’s Match Play Champion. For the ladies Mid-Amateur Champion, the team at Malcolm DeMille presented an option to apply the same money clip design onto a beautiful jewelry box. This gave Nebraska Golf Association two unique tournament awards suited for the Men’s and Women’s awards from one mold.
