The Texas Golf Association and Malcolm DeMille have worked together over the years to create versatile Awards. The Medal and Money Clip designs not only reflect the Lone Star State, but can be utilized as an award for multiple events. Both the Medal and Money Clip molds feature the Texas Lone Star front and center with a banner that is engraved with the tournament name, recipient’s placing, and year. The 2.5” medals, awarded to a tournament champion or runner-up, are cast in brass or nickel, encased with stained-glass, and accented with a small stone.
The Money Clip design has a complementary look to the Medals. Championship Money Clips are crafted in sterling silver and also accented with stones. For each event, the money clip stone selected matches the medal’s stained-glass to create uniformity among the awards and changed to distinguish the award from the previous year. With the creation of just two Molds—one for Medals and one for Money Clips, Texas Golf Association is able to utilize these molds every year for over fourteen events. The Texas Golf Association is proud to present these finely crafted Awards each year to the deserving recipients.
