Valero Texas Open
The intricate Valero Texas Open trophy features a crystal shaped Texas and Valero flag surrounded by hand sculpted, antique bronze, San Antonio landmarks including: The Alamo, the San Fernando Cathedral, the Tower of Life, the Tower of the Americas, Frost Tower, Marriott River center, the Torch of Friendship and of course the world-famous San Antonio River Walk.The perpetual trophy stands atop a three-tiered oak wood base that commemorates past champions of the Valero Texas Open going back to 1922, where the Champion’s trophy sits on a single-tier oak wood base.
